Available Facilities

Olympus National Park Information Center is accessible to general public, to people with disabilities and strives to ensure that everyone is welcome and has access to the programs and services offered.

The new Auditorium can seat 142 persons. With a surface area of 162 square meters it is a distinctive and prestigious venue, ideal for conferences, presentations, lectures, talks, meetings, interviews, training courses and other events. The Auditorium has an elevated, permanent stage, with panel seating for 5 persons. There are two interpreting booths and state of the art audiovisual equipment. A room of 40-50 seats, ideal for conferences, meetings, workshops, talks is located on the first floor of Olympus National Park Information Center.
On the ground floor there are another two adaptable spaces, available for parallel proceedings, such as exhibitions and conference catering.

The under development lending Library of Olympus National Park Management Agency offers a comfortable and pleasant study environment for visitors.
All are welcome to use its services. Visitors have access to the stacks and other material, which they can read in the reading room. Visitors may also borrow books, by giving details of their identity.

Donations:

Donations of printed and digital material are acceptable, provided that this material:

1. Falls within one of the subject areas covered by the Library,
2. Is in good condition.

Once the donor has made over the material to the Olympus National Park Management Agency/ Library, it becomes the property of the Olympus National Park Management Agency/ Library, which is not obliged to keep it in its entirety, but does undertake to inform the donor in case of disposal. Books etc. donated to the Library are specially stamped and entered into the collection bearing the name of the donor.

Photography on Olympus National Park Information Center premises is permitted only for private use. For any commercial photography / filming request, please submit your permission request via email to fedolymp@otenet.gr. Interested parties should send their requests at least 30 days in advance.

A parking space of around 70-80 car spots is available for the visitors. The car park is free of charge.

There are standard single-sex accessible toilets with step-free access for the people with disability.

Food and beverages are not allowed in the exhibition of the Visitor Center and are also not available in the Olympus National Park Information Center.

Smoking is prohibited in all Olympus National Park Information Center indoor areas. In all other outdoor areas, smoking is not prohibited and we kindly ask visitors respectfully use the available floor ashtrays.
