On the road from Litochoro to Agios Ioannis there is a very clear crossroads leading to Agios Ioannis on the left and Profitis Ilias on the right.

An uphill path begins from this crossroads which leads to the area of Golna from which there is an impressive view of the high peaks of Mount Olympus and Enipea Canyon.
The path continues descending in a northwest direction and after some time intersects with the E4 path between Litochoro and Prionia. Take this path east heading towards Litochoro. This is a relatively easy route and offers a brief taste of Olympus as it combines the view of the peaks with the traversable area of Enipea Canyon.
